Mrs. Amy Gilcrease

Hi Everyone, my name is Mrs. Amy Gilcrease.  This is my first year in Trinity ISD, but I have been in the education field for the last  22 years.  I am super excited to be a Trinity Tiger this year!  I started out my educational career as an Instructional Assistant began my journey for the love of teaching and reaching every student. So, I worked full time at Huntsville ISD and started classes at Sam Houston State University.  I graduated from SHSU in May 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Minor in Special Education.

 

I was born and raised in Huntsville Texas, and have been happily married for 25 years.  My husband and I are active members of Burning Hope Baptist Church. I love spreading the news of Christ through music, and up until COVID 19 my band Southern Hope visited many churches in the Trinity area.
