Take a piece a paper fold like (hot dog) way. Now on one side pull apart and cut 5 slices. On the top slit put meaning, 2nd word syllables, 3rd parts of speech,4th word punctuation, and 5th slit guide word.
Now open the slit and write the definition. Under 2nd clap out the word, 3rd slit which of the eight parts of speech, 4th slit how to say the word, 5th guide words words around it.

I had a difficult time this morning as you can see in the video. But for those yesterday I did get my volume fixed!

Today is the day we do our class SOCIAL CONTRACT. Yes even my virtual students get to make one and I will post on the wall for us to view. The idea on this is that I need each one of you to come up with 1 adjective to describe the four questions I will list:

Unfortunately, we are unable to hold a dictionary which is a great tool for you to use in understanding a word meaning. Please take about a minute to see how the website works. In your warm up activity you will look up and define the word or words listed. Below is the first word to define and I will also post the words we define on word wall. Next ,we will work on root words I have listed the definition of a root word.
