Mrs. Amy Gilcrease

Hey everyone, it's Mrs. Amy Gilcrease! I'm super excited to be a part of Trinity ISD for the sixth year now, and I've been in the education field for a whopping 28 years. I'm thrilled to be a Trinity Tiger!  This year I will be teaching 6th Grade Math, and I am looking forward to sharing my love for math with the students.

 

My journey began as an Instructional Assistant at Huntsville ISD while I also pursued my studies at Sam Houston State University. In May 2011, I proudly graduated from SHSU with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Special Education Minor.

 

Huntsville, Texas is my hometown, and I've been happily married for 29 years. My husband and I are deeply involved in our community as active members of Burning Hope Baptist. On top of that, you might catch me as the lead singer of Southern Hope, the band that loves to spread God's joy through our church visits around the area.
